Reforged Empyrean Armor +3 is a category of armor and garb which is upgraded from the Reforged Empyrean Armor +2 via the NPC Ruspix, in Leafallia (H-8).
This page shows the items required to upgrade your Empyrean Armor to it's Item Level 119+3 equivalent using items from Sortie.

The following conditions must be met in order to begin this process:

It takes one game day to complete the reforging process.

As of the October 2017 update[1], Empyrean Armor now grants its set bonuses even if the pieces equipped are of differing Item Levels.

Note: Previously it stated that Lethargy set bonus didn't work across the different pieces, this was false information.

Empyrean +3 Key Items

As of the November 2022 Version Update, a key item is automatically provided to players who unlock the +3 upgrade tier for a job by reaching any area via a Bitzer device on the job that is unlocked. These key items are similar to the Reforged Relic Armor +3 key items. Note that no key item exists for the +2 tier, and the only way to see if you can upgrade an empyrean set of armor to reforged +2 is by interacting with Ruspix.

If a player has previously unlocked the +3 tier of a job before the November 2022 Version Update, that job's soul key item is automatically received when examining the Diaphanous Transposer in Kamihr Drifts (F-6).
