Notes

  • Please take extreme caution when wearing this armor piece as it may be currently bugged.
    • Users have observed that specifically in Dynamis-Divergence Wave 3 against Volte monsters, using this piece can make the user take upwards of 10,000 damage on enemy Weapon Skills. This issue has still been observed as of November 2024.
    • Thread discussing this on ffxiah.com.
    • Bug report on the Official Forums.
    • ffxiah.com post expanding that it's any Fomor type mob, not just Dynamis-D. Be careful in Sortie and the Lilith HTMB as well.
    • On March 27, 2025, SE posted official notice stating this issue will be addressed in the April 2025 version update.
  • Gives -% Damage Taken as Enmity increases.
    • The range is from -2.3% (-6/256) with no Enmity (includes supertanking) to -10.5% with full Enmity.
  • Set Occasionally absorbs damage taken.
  • Absorbs damage equivalent to a full hit only if a shield block does not occur.
  • Each separate piece provides an additional +1% chance of activation (minimum +2% from wearing two pieces), up to a maximum of +5%.
