  • Ignored our PUP tank. Immediately went for the GEO using Dia and then the SMNs shortly after.
  • Estimated 1700-1800 to cap accuracy, post-update.
  • Another good option is to instead have a Scholar do Distortion and have a Corsair with an extremely good Leaden Salute set fire off Leaden Salute to create a [[Darkness] skillchain. Not only will Leaden Salute hit very hard but so will the resulting skillchain. Black Mages can burst Death off that skillchain, essentially giving you three heavy hits in one.
  • Rune Fencer can tank this NM and his Wynavs with an Aettir and a strong tanking build.
  • If Benediction goes off during 'Bracelets Mode' consider restarting and cut your losses. If it goes off before this mode then chances are you can recover.

There are really two ways to approach this battle.

  • Slow Approach: Slowly whittle down Warder of Courage's HP while having GEO and BLM keep a very close eye on the '1-hour cloud animation'. As soon as it goes off use T5 and T6 nukes immediately. If done in time there is a good chance you will lock out the 1-hour he just used. The 1-hours you want to lock out are Invincible, Call Wyvern, and Soul Voice. If you do this before he enters the bracelets mode then he will not have access to Benediction, Soul Voice, Astral Flow and Mijin Gakure as the aforementioned three are the starting points in his various 1-hour rotations during bracelets mode. If you successfully lock out those three 1-hours then your chances of a victory become much greater.
  • Fast Approach: Constant skillchains and bursts. Bolster and Tabula Rasa as soon as he enters bracelets mode and drop the hammer on him. This will result in faster kills but it also makes this fight extremely luck dependent. You need to hope that he does not use Benediction or Soul Voice during bracelets mode or there is a very good chance you're going to wipe.

5/6 man SMN-Burn:

COR (non-Regal) drops after Beast/Drachen buffs, RUN uses Sforzo, GEO (non-Idris) does Bolster Frailty and Dia II, 3xSMN (non-Nirvana, mostly BiS) AF/AC Volt Strike spam (18-19 times).

With more people, just add more SMNs and better gear!

Recommendations include:

  • Using Impact to lower defense even more

~1.20M HP with 5 people

~1.40M HP with 7 people

~1.75M HP with 9 people

~2.00M HP with 10 people

Estimate about ~200k increase in HP per person when over 6 people.

We just killed tonight Oct 18 2022 and scoreboard is reporting 1.275mil for 9 people. Has this been lowered? -- 22:32, 18 October 2022 Sketch

Melee Zerg:

Straightforward fight which you can zerg down. You can get screwed by bad one-hour combos but if your damage is high it's rarely an issue. Full alliance- RUN RDM BRD COR GEO WHM, other two parties DDx2 BRD COR GEO WHM. Melee zerg is pretty easy now. Ran 7 chars through, RUN WAR DRK BRD COR WHM RDM. SVCC and let the DDs use SPs. Under 2 minutes. Would suggest using the Petrify temp item (Mirror's Tonic).
