Two-Hour.png SP Abilities, often referred to as "Two-Hours" or "One-Hours" for their original and updated recast times, respectively, are unique, powerful, and highly thematic job-specific abilities.

Each job learns two SP Abilities, one at level 1, and one at level 96. SP Abilities can be used only from your main job.

All level 1 SP Abilities share a common recast timer, and all level 96 SP Abilities share a second common recast timer. After using an SP Ability, that level of SP Ability will be unavailable on all jobs until the cooldown ends.

Several means of resetting SP Ability cooldowns exist:

  • Using a Revitalizer resets the cooldowns on all abilities, including SP Abilities.
  • Wild Card will reset the party's level 1 SP Abilities on a roll of 5, or both SP Abilities on a roll of 6.
  • Cutting Cards reduces the remaining recast timer of the target's SP Abilities by a percentage which depends on the value of the roll.
  • Various other relatively unreliable methods of resetting SP Abilities exist, including brown treasure chests in Limbus and being hit with unlucky rolls on Goblin Dice.

All SP Abilities are augmentable with Job Points.

Achieving Job Mastery through Job Points reduces the recast time of SP Abilities by 15 minutes. Using an SP Ability while under the effect of Level Sync or Level Restriction below level 99 will not confer the recast time reduction.

Each level 1 SP Ability is enhanced by one piece of the corresponding job's augmented Relic Armor. The augmentation persists through all levels of Reforging, but does not increase in potency.

Several variations of Evolith may be added to certain equipment to slightly reduce the recast timer of SP Abilities. Evolith are generally not considered worthwhile in the modern era.
