Crooked Jones
Located in Norg at (H-8), Crooked Jones collects fish from the Fishing Ventures system in exchange for a new currency called "doubloons". Each day, one lower tier fish will be selected (max. 60 each), one middle tier fish will be selected (max. 40 each), and one legendary fish will be selected (max. 15). These fish must be traded to a Sinister Stash. Multiple different fish of varying quantities can be traded at once. Players must be at least 20 fishing to interact with Jones and his stash.

Sinister Stash locations
- Norg at (H-8)
- Lower Jeuno at (I-8) in the Merry Ministrel Meadhouse
Treasure Hunts
Once the player has obtained the Brigand's Shovel, Crooked Jones will give the option to participate in a Treasure Hunt. This may be done once per day.
A Pirate's Key must first be obtained from fished up monsters in a specified area. Upon obtaining the key, Jones will reveal the location of the buried treasure. Using the Brigand's Shovel, players must find the exact location and open the chest with the Pirate's Key, yielding many doubloons and multiple new items.
- Players may obtain various rewards including
legendary fish bait, a
Pirate's Chart, and the unique
Buccaneer's Chart.
Buccaneer's Chart
After obtaining a chart, players may trade it to the Unsettled Sand at (H-9) in Cape Teriggan. The fight is a higher version of the same one for the Pirate's Chart fight. You will fight against a Sahagin, a Manta, and a Crab.
- Level 70 Cap.
- 3 Players.
- 30 Minutes.
Notable rewards include:
Albatross Ring G
Penguin Ring G
Dwarf Pugil x0~2 C
Drill Calamary x0~2 C
Mercurial kunai R
Daily Cap / Fatigue
New ACE and Wings Era Warrior characters start with a limit of 20 fish per real life day. To increase this limit:
- ACE characters must complete Limit Break 3 (Whence Blows the Wind) to increase their limit to 300.
- WeW characters must unlock their subjob (The Old Lady or Elder Memories) to increase their limit to 300.
- Fishing fatigue can be further increased via equipping the
Ebisu Fishing Rod (+1) or Mariner's Tunic/Boots (+1/2) obtained from Special Ventures - Fishing.
- Every +1 is +10% more fish. For example, the limit would be 330 fish if an Ebisu Rod is owned. This multiplier is additive.
Crystal Warriors are exempt from the fishing fatigue limit.
This limit resets at JST midnight.
