Home Point Crystal

Home Points are crystals found across Vana'diel that players can set to return to when using Warp or when K.O.'d without a Raise.

In addition, examining these crystals once allows instant transportation between them, for a fee.

A Home Point may also be set at any Outpost, not under Beastmen control, by speaking to the Outpost Guard.

Only one Home Point may be set at a time and there are no restrictions to changing. The current Home Point may be checked under Profile in the Main Menu.

A complete list of all Home Points crystals across Vana'diel is found below.

Home Point Teleportation

Introduced in the December 2013 Version Update, Home Point teleportation is a way of traveling quickly around the world of Vana'diel.

Depending on the destination, a nominal gil fee is paid to use the service:

  • Free of charge for teleporting among Home Points in the same town/city.
  • 500 gil to teleport to a town/city Home Point.
  • 1,000 gil to teleport to a field/dungeon Home Point.

Home Points found towns/cities may append a shorthand next to the destination: (M) denotes the Home Point next to a Mog House, (E) denotes the Home Point next to the entrance/exit, and (A) denotes the Home Point next to the Auction House.

Destinations can be sorted by either Region Name or Expansion.

Nine favorite destinations may be set. When setting a favorite, they are added to the "Select from Favorites" option at the top of the menu.

Home Points will appear as slowly glowing on the map screen if you have yet to unlock them, similar to survival guides and cavernous maws.
